OK, so it's nothing to do with Notes (for a change)
The one day of the year when virtually everyone I know is having a BBQ, and inviting all their friends around.
Ostensibly to watch the game, but we all know what they're really up to.
Networking.
Working (cheering) together.
Collaborating.
OK - so you knew I was going to work Notes in here somehow - didn't you :-)
The greatest game on earth - in one of the greatest stadiums since the Colosseum. And for the second time in two years, the same teams, and almost the same result. It's funny how one kick can decide the fate of two grand finals, a year apart. One goal splits two great teams in one of the best rivalries of recent times.
Shame the Swan's couldn't make it back-to-back.
But at the end of the day, everyone enjoyed themselves, and lamented on another great final.

Goodbye Footy for another year, now I can''t wait for the ashes to start to fill in the time until next season...
